Larodde, France Sept.3, 2022
Shalom co-Laborers,
As the summer passes and the fall approaches may our hearts and souls be ever turned to Jesus Christ, to His Word and Will. “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” I was blessed at the camp week for adults at Arc en Ciel = Camp Rainbow where Tim Knickerbocker taught Ecclesiastes. It was very practical. I never got to Switzerland-CH. The tract Mission I have used since around 1995 in CH has closed. This summer I distributed about 1000 of their tracts in French & German. Perhaps now I should seek to obtain my tracts in France. The Bible studies in Hebrews with Mioveni, RO church stopped. The Bible studies with Kenyan widows continue on Monday. We are studying the Progressive Revelation of the Messiah. Next Monday is on Psalm 110. Scofield Bible says of Ps 110 “The importance of Psalm 110 is attested by the remarkable prominence given to it in the New Testament.” I ask for continued prayer for Ovidiu Domnariu of Cisnedia, RO, for his continued cancer treatments. He is presently limited in his energy. Adi & Alina Cracium of Ghimbov, RO, said there is some improvement in their daughter Bianca. Robert Tinca of Rishnov, RO, after his back operation has gone back to truck driving. There is still some pain and he is careful. Their daughter Bianca returns to school Monday. Her health is very delicate. The distribution of Bible calendars for 2023 is being prepared. I am still handing out Tamil litterature. My Messianic friend Michael Mystetsky of Kiev, Ukraine, asks for prayer for his wife Masha. Her health is extremely bad, but her need is to repent and to be saved. I am still praying about a trip to Israel in October 2022. There was continued literature distribution around my city of Athis-Mons. A woman with a scarf was offered a tract and she immediately got her glasses out and read the introduction. She said similar things could be said about the Koran. I said I had one in Arabic and she preferred reading it in Arabic. The posters stayed uncovered in July and the first two weeks of August. Aug. 19, I headed to Germany to distribute the German literature I had in my apartment. I stayed with Dieter Rheinbold and distributed in his area near Freiburg. In Lorach, I witnessed to a Jew born in Minsk, Belarus. He has lived in Germany many years. His name is Uri and is about 45. He was drunk or on drugs. His English was clear. His woman friend I believe was on drugs. He gave a typical Jewish response to the gospel. I gave him 2 testimonies of Jews who had been saved: The Young Drummer Boy and David by Agnus Scott Kent. My prayer is for Uri and his woman friend will be saved and that they will then leave drugs and alcohol behind. Uri means “my light”. May Uri become the light of the Messiah. His name is found in Exodus 31:2. I will continue my traveling in France for a week or two putting up gospel signs and distributing tracts. I brought to Arc en Ciel youth camp center in Larodde, FR to Andrew Livingstone about 200 Christian books. Andrew and his wife Sephora run the center. Jean-Paul Burgat who is 92 is giving up his library that he used in his service for Christ in France. I have a wart on the bottom of my right foot that is painful. I try to be careful not to irritate my back. I received new glasses for which I am thankful. “Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days.” Ecclesiastes 11:1. “Blessed are ye that sow beside all waters, that send forth thither the foot of the ox and the ass.” Isaiah 32:2. Sowing in expectation,Michael Bentley
