PRAYER LETTER March 2023. Mioveni , Romania

To my partners in mission,

During Christmas season we reviewed the event of the Word taking on flesh in Bethlehem.  I am thinking of Jesus in the temple in Jerusalem.  After Mary was purified, she & Joseph took baby Jesus to the Temple to be presented to the LORD.  Luke 2:22. There Simeon (Lk 2:25) and Anna (Lk 2: 36) recognized The Christ Child.  Anna is Hanna in Hebrew.  In 1 Samuel 1 Hannah the mother of Samuel was in bitterness of soul because she had no son.  When she came to Shiloh year after year with her husband Elkanah & Peninnah his 2nd wife Hannah would not eat because she had no son.   Elkanahcame "to worship and to sacrifice unto the  LORD of hosts”.  Hannah’s praying and fasting were honored by the LORD OF HOSTS.  Hannah had a son whom she gave to Jehovah, Samuei.  Anna of Luke 2:36-38 was a widow indeed.  1 Timothy 5:3-5  Anna “served God with fastings and prayers night and day”.   Lk 2:37
On Feb. 22 I arrived in Bucharest, Romania.  On Feb. 25 & 26 I gave a message on fasting in a Messianic Assembly and in a Baptist Church.  An appreciation for the first two messages was evident.  The day before I left Bucharest while distributing I met two men who spoke some Hebrew.  I spoke Hebrew to them and gave a Hebrew booklet.  One looked briefly at it then gave it back and left.   There will be a 5-day March 1-5 fasting Conference in the Mioveni Assembly with whom I have had close to 20 summer camps for a week each summer up to 2019.  I will have meetings with pastor John Poenar in the Brasov area: March 9-12.  I will visit Berbitsa & Ligia Simion whose church is in Brazi, RO Mar 13-15, then return to Bucharest to visit again the Messianic Assembly and then the Maranatha Baptist church with pastor Ioan Tone.
I am planning a furlough to USA mid-April 2023 to mid-March 2024.  Visiting my supporting churches will be complicated by my not being able to drive at night.  I would appreciate prayer and help for arranging a schedule to visit churches.  I will be in Washington D C area for my high school reunion May 19-21, 2023.  In the past I visited my Florida churches in January therefore in Jan. 2024 I plan to visit Florida churches.  I will be in Jacksonville, FL by April 20, 2023.
In my Sept. 2022 letter I mentioned the cancer of Ovidiu Damnariu of Cisnedia, RO.  He recently got a good test on a biopsy.  Cancer cells had died.  There are tests to be done soon.  Corina his relative 6 years ago was healed with the aid of a stem cells transplant.  She is needing another stem cell transplant.  The mayor’s daughter is in their church and her cancer is reoccurring after 10-year remission.  Her name is Donna Hozat.  Their pastor Immanuel is much better health wise. 
I received over 1000 Tresors Bible verse calendars for 2023 and they are distributed.  Early in January 2023 I was in the MSD office and I got 3 boxes of Tresors calendars, 250 calendars in a box.  The picture is what they had left to distribute on Jan. 3, 2023.  Bible posters were posted.  The one pictured was on the January tour in France.  The verse is Galatians 2:20b: “the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”  The question is Do you believe in the Son of God?   The lessons by phone to widows in Kenya continue.  My wart was more a callus, and the foot doctor removed it quickly.  I am considering a trip to Israel in October 2024.  May we be found faithful to Christ and His Word and will in 2024,
