PRAYER UPDATE

Dear prayer partners,   

I taught the church in Mioveni, Romania recently by Zoom Daniel 9. This is the church in which I had the summer camp for about 20 years. I also gave lessons during the Passion week and for Pentecost.  I am attracted to the time of the evening oblation in Dan 9.   Daniel was young when he left Israel but the evening sacrifice he ever kept in his memory.  Gabriel touched Daniel about the time of the evening sacrifice.  Dan 9:21  May there be a special time we consecrate to be with Christ each day.    As Jehovah expected the worshipping Jews to come at the time of the evening sacrifice so Jesus Christ is expecting us to come to Him daily.   Posters went up Jan. to March.  In April the political posters went up for regional elections on June 20 & 27.   I tend not to poster when the boards are full of political candidates.  The poster is a silent missionary, it speaks when read. I sent 2 Arabic calendars to Elias Tubben whom I knew in East Jerusalem.  He lives on Crete.  I gave 3 calendars in the language of Madagascar and I gave  3 to De Rozier who was born in Madagascar who knows to whom he can give .  I still have Arabic, Portuguese, Italian & Romanian.  June 6 my church will baptize a Muslim convert and I may be able to give Murad  the Arabic  calendars.  I gave several in Romanian.    I gave several in Creole (HAITI) and still 1 left.  I gave 2 in Turkish and I still have one left.  All French were given.  I pray for the seed sown & that the calendars will be read daily .  The calendar is another silent missionary.
As I walk to stores I distribute tracts and a few on the inside of a store.  Also as I take a walk for exercise tracks are given.  Recently I stopped to talk to a man who has been sleeping on a bus stop bench near me for almost 2 months now.  He refused a tract previously, he is not opened to talk.  I then saw 2 men sitting in the opposite bus stop.  They were friendly, they were Polish.  I gave a booklet, Delia, The Bluebird of Mulberry Street-1893.  Delia’s Mom died and she was raised in a convent.  At 17-18 she was on her own and she was soon in sin, alcohol, opium, prison, in a gang of thieves.    For the police to get her in prison cell they had to use handcuffs.  They called her Mystery.  She believed in truth and endangered herself challenging evil men.  She sacrificially cared for the sick.  In 3 years she was ruined.   I have given this booklet out for years.  Originally in English it is 124 pages.  In the French version it is 48.  It has been too long since I read it.  This man’s French was limited.  He asked me to read it to him.  At the beginning the word vagabond (wanderer, homeless) was mentioned.  The man said the other man was a vagabond and he took him into his apartment.  Often the Poles are alcoholics, and these two were.  The vagabond had lived 5 years in Ireland so I could witness to him in English.  In the end the Polish man who spoke some French hugged me.  I had 2 Polish Bible calendars in my van but I was not able to give them to them.  I will try to carry them with me in case I see them again.  Immediately after I saw 3 young men.  I offered the booklet Delia.  One man spoke up saying they did not want.  I continued walking.  One of them asked if I was a Christian?  I believe he was born again!  He took the booklet and we fellowshipped sone in spite of the rain.  May we believers “be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear.”  1 Peter 3:15        I am due to see a urologist about my swollen prostate.  I was told in 1990 that it was swollen.    I think what he has proposed is a catheter treatment.  I am hesitant.  While eating I watch sermons on YouTube: Amir Tsarfati from Israel, JD Farag of Hawaii and the USA 2020 election news and the vaccination.  I do not plan to travel this summer to East Europe.  I am in contact by phone and internet with Israel, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Italy, Germany, Greece, USA & Ukraine.
